About Us

The Body Shoppe: Health & Wellness Center was established in 2018 after Lauren had decided that she wanted to change the focus of her nursing career. With a strong desire to turn her dreams into a reality, Lauren designed a hybrid clinic, focusing on aesthetic services and acute care. 

After just a few months of tackling all the ends and outs of her new business adventure, she had received a phone call from Kris requesting a meeting. Kris, like  Lauren, also had a passion for the field of aesthetics. Having recently also started her own business, The Mind and Body Dialogue, she decided that reaching out to someone with a similar mindset may be just what she needed to launch her plans into action. 

Lauren and Kris and their respective businesses, The Body Shoppe: Health & Wellness Center and The Mind and Body Dialogue, partnered together in 2019 to bring about a multidisciplinary medical spa environment offering a variety of aesthetic services under one roof. Both Lauren and Kris approach the field of aesthetics with the philosophy that the clients/patients should be seen and treated as partners in their plans of care regarding their aging or other skin care concerns. By using their respective backgrounds, aesthetics and nursing, these two come together to develop the most optimal treatment plans and maintenance regimens to assure that clients/patients leave with a better understanding of skin health and how to begin taking control of the aging process by following the proper priniciples of skin care. 

Lauren and Kris continue to expand the service menu at The Body Shoppe: Health & Wellness Center to keep up with the newest available technologies and treatments in aesthetics.
